So the movie comes out today! My hubby & I are debating taking our oldest to see it in the theatre. She likes the first two movies, so we thought this might be a fun thing for her. Plus, it would be the first movie she saw in the movie theatre. Our only concern is she doesn't like things loud, and the movie theatre will be loud.
What do you think? Should we take her to see it or wait for the DVD?

Take her to see it, totally! When she sees all the familiar characters on the screen, she probably won't feel scared. I am so jealous right now!
It's day 2, so I'm not sure what you decided.
In my opinion, the first weekend a kids' movie is released, the movie is played EXTRA loud to drown out the sounds of all the screeching, crying, whining, talking, rustling children in the theater. Can you tell this bugs me? :)
I bribed my boys with a church festival and a visit to my sister's pool to get out of taking them this weekend. The movie will still be playing next week, during a rainy day, when they are off from school, and when the theater is practically empty. I'll wait until then.
That's just my 2 cents...I hope you don't mind!
All of that being said...I have gone to every Harry Potter movie on opening night (I just can't help it - I love Harry Potter!)
I think we're gonna take her. I'm glad we didn't go the first day it opened- way to crowded. We'll probably take in a week or 2. Your opinions were very valuable & I'm glad you gave them. Hope you both are doing well. I'll tell you how it went when we do go.
