My hubby and I had 2 weddings when we got married. Not being one of those little girls who dreamed of her wedding, the big elaborate ceremony was all his. Mine was our little Vegas ceremony. Every time we ever went to Vegas we always made a stop at The Hard Rock Cafe. We both LOVE their shakes and collected the glasses they came in. So, of course, we had to go there during our wedding weekend.
For those of you who haven't been to this restaurant, when they play "YMCA" over the system some of the waitresses get up on a platform and dance to it. My new hubby & I decided that when they played it we'd both get on our chairs and dance along. Well, they played it and I got on my chair.... AND HE BACKED OUT!!! Sadly, I was already dancing by this point thinking he'd be on his chair any second. Even more sad, one of the managers was right by us. So I got taken up to the platform with the dancers.
So, there I was. Dancing like an idiot, in front of people, and plotting my new hubby's death. And there he was, taking pictures and loving every minute of it. (Thankfully, I have the pictures in my possession.) I'd like to say that after 10+ years of marriage I have forgiven my other half for this. I have not. But I'm working on it...maybe.

What a fun story!;) Sorry, but it is funny, at least to an outsider. Until you can forgive your husband, he should be doing the laundry as part of his redeeming process.;) I know I'd make him do stuff, haha.
Thanks for sharing a lovely story from your life!
It is a funny story- though embarrassing at the time. To this day he doesn't feel badly- at all. He can be such a stinker when he wants to be.
